I’m currently doing a “detox” as well. Like you, I deleted Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. For me, it’s not a detox per se. I would not say I have a dependency on social media; I just felt like when you’re constantly being bombarded with other people’s thoughts, lives, photos, ideas etc, it’s really hard to spend time with myself and get to know who I am as a person. So the point is to tune out the noise and spend time with myself. I started mine recently and I’m trying to go for a month.
